L-threonine

L-threonine is an essential amino acid, mainly used in pharmaceutical and chemical reagents, food supplements, feed additives and so on. Among them, feed additives call for a rapid increasing demand for L-threonine that is often added to the minor piglets as the second limiting amino acid and poultry feed as the third limiting amino acid.

Description

-White orthorhombic crystal or crystalline powder, odorless, slightly sweet, melt and decomposed under around 256 ℃, decomposed rapidly when encountering dilute alkali at high temperatures and slow when encountering acids, soluble in water (20g/100ml, 25 ℃), insoluble in ethanol, ether and chloroform. As an essential amino acid, its physiological effects double DL-Threonine.  Minimum daily intake is about 0.5g. Animals will take risk of losing appetite and acquiring fatty liver once lacking it.

-Nutritional supplements. Cereal proteins call for L-lysine to be complemented and L-Threonine is followed due to a difficult hydrolysis of proteins and thus nondigestible, though containing rich L-Threonine bonded with peptides un:yes'>  Minimum daily intake is about 0.5g. People will take risk of losing appetite and acquiring fatty liver once lacking it.

-Used to confect amino acid infusion and comprehensive amino acid preparations.

This product is made by microbial fermentation with glucose as raw materials, and then gets refined after membrane filtration, concentration, crystallization, drying and other processes. Based on microbial fermentation, this product is safe and reliable without toxic side residues and available in a variety of feed (including export-oriented farming enterprises feed) for safe use. As an essential amino acid, Threonine is widely applied in feed additives, food supplements and medicine and so on.

This product is white to light brown crystals or crystalline powder with good appearance, particle uniformity and good fluidity, no static, easily to be mixed, odorless, slightly sweet. it will be melt and decomposed under approx 253 ~ 256 ℃ and there will be very fast decomposition in dilute alkali at high temperatures but slow one in acid. It has optical activity, soluble in water (9g/100ml, 20 ℃), insoluble in alcohol, ether and chloroform.

Uses Efficacy: as a feed additive and also a powerful tool helping improve feed quality and reduce feed costs for feed producers, Threonine is extensively added to piglet feed, pig feed, chicken feed, shrimp feed and eel feed in conjunction with lysine generally. Threonine plays its role in many ways like assisting balance building of amino acids to accelerate growth, improving meat quality, gaining weight and lean meat percentage, lowing feed conversion ratio, sharpening nutritional value of feedstuff having a poor digestibility of amino acid, helping conserve proteins resources and reduce the cost of feedstuff via cutting down proteins to be added in feed, lessening nitrogen expelled out in livestock manure, urine and ammonia concentration as well as its release rate in livestock and poultry sheds, and contributing to consolidate young animals’ immune system to resist disease.
